The settlement you secured allowed my wife to complete her master’s degree and become a licensed counselor specializing in addiction and family counseling.
It also allowed me to return to school, become an Advanced EMT licensed in Georgia and Virginia, and specialize in critical care for trauma patients.
Most importantly, we were able to keep our home and rebuild our lives. After years of serving our community in Atlanta, we moved back to southwest Virginia.
We now live on a farm near Jonesville, where I serve as Captain of the St. Charles Rescue Squad and my wife continues her counseling work.
